Good smell, doesn’t last very long

I have multiple Kayali perfumes and was really excited about this one. The scent is light, refreshing, clean and not overpowering. However, I was expecting more of a orangey, citrus smell but I didn’t quite get that from this fragrance. I don’t smell the citrus at all. I also notice that it doesn’t last as long as some of the other Kayali fragrances I own (last approx. 4-5 hours). I think this would be good for a teenager or someone who doesn’t like/need a super intense long lasting fragrance.

Not citrusy

I love love love citrus scents but this is not citrus! It’s very heavy on the floral notes like rose and pepper. I bought this online based on the description without smelling it first. It’s a real disappointment. I was hoping for a cousin to Atelier Cologne (any!) or Ellis Brooklyn Sun Fruit, but it’s closer to a a Jo Malone. Will not repurchase.

This smells like citrus cleaning supplies. I had to return it, I didn’t like walking around smelling like I just cleaned my house. It’s not sexy in the least bit and there is nothing subtle about it.

I don’t know how to feel about this perfume. I don’t hate it, but I don’t love it so that makes it a return for me. It has moderate longevity, I tested it on the back of my hand and I could still smell it after 6 hours and multiple hand washes.

I’m writing this review for 4 scents as the result was the same (and disappointing) with all of them. I purchased Musk, Deja Vu, Citrus and Vanilla. I tried each of them separately and layered in various combinations. Alone, each failed to shine in any way, sitting every close to the skin and never morphing or developing into anything spectacular after the initial alcohol tinged blast. Layered- I had to spray a lot of each scent which did last the whole day but again, did not reveal any remarkable or unique fragrance blend. Nobody noticed I was wearing anything and not a single person who hugged me even said “you smell nice” Definitely recommended buying the travel sizes first to see if these are for you.

Why is this called Citrus?

First off I love Citrus scents a lot and from reviews of this exact scent thought I would be in love with this scents but after purchasing this I’m not exactly in love with it. from spraying it just to smell it to wearing it on my skin it leans way more ROSE then Citrus I hardly smell the grapefruit. Because of the heavy rose (which is one my least favorite notes in perfume) is why I rated 3 and I’m on the fence about returning it.

Is that bug spray?

Somewhere between bug spray and kitchen cleaner on the spectrum of citrus scents. Needs more depth. like a vanilla base.

Menthol meets Potpourri…

I love Kayali typically and blind bought this fragrance with high hopes for the usual sweet, sensual Kayali DNA. Welllll I sprayed it on my skin and immediately was taken aback by an odd almost medicinal scent mixed with a potpourri type scent. It smells like the menthol fell into the potpourri…

Unique

This is such a unique scent, not too sweet or too fruity. The perfect mix of both.

Keeping it!

Nice! I like it. It’s more floral than it is citrusy, but a good balance. I’m not a big fragrances fan, because they usually give me the worst headaches and feeling of nausea. However this perfume has been just great so far.
